This is a Minnesota area code, but they are probably just spoofing caller ID with a fake number.

One call on Saturday morning. Hung before I could answer.

Stated they are from the ADR Firm

They said they were with the California Department of Investigation and were getting information on a payday advance.

claiming he was an attorney and that i had charges against me through a payday loan that I never received. When i started asking questions he hung up on me.

Several calls from this number, normally with breathing on the other end. Once call was "happy birthday" song in Spanish. Reporting to local authorities.

called left a message,they were talking to someone with them, saying no they can't if they have a spouse

He try to talk with my brtother and he said the call was from L.A. Sheriff Department. When my Brother call back the number is not in service

They have called my cell phone seven times in the last week. The first two times I answered but they immediately hung up on me. After that I just didn't pick up. I blocked the number on my land line and called them back from that phone. I got a recording saying "Thank you for calling back. If you are not interested in receiving future calls regarding our special promotions and would like to be placed on our Do Not Call list please press 1. Please allow up to 72 hours to have your number removed from our preferred marketing list. Thank you and have a nice day." All my phone numbers are already on the Do Not Call list. I am reporting them to the FTC.
